A collection of short stories, poems, snippets, vignettes, and everything else that crosses my mind and has no place in my current publications, or is waiting in the wings to find its forever home. Here is either where ideas are born, or where they go to die.

Plot: The plot focuses on an unnamed depressed apathetic writer experiencing writer's block. After the success of his critically acclaimed debut novel, The Novel, he runs out of ideas to write for another masterpiece. He goes on a journey, even having to do things he wouldn't normally do just for the sake of getting ideas, just to reclaim his lost creativity, and he also reflects his experiences in life and love. The novel is part satire, part philosophical, due to its existentialist blend inspired from the works of Camus, Sartre, Dostoyevsky, and Kafka with a mix of my trademarks—surreal and dark humor, violence, parody, satirical commentary, horror and shock value, depression, and nihilism. Most of us long to "Be" but when the path gets too costly, or steep, we take solace in what we "Have." Remove the trappings of what we own and then what is the sum of us? They were the survivors, abandoned by the allies who swore to protect, in the ultimate gesture of greed and betrayal. Their world plunged into annihilation and chaos. With the passage of years in this blighted landscape order was established anew. Those who had been anonymous before the war found their will to rule, those who had experienced the comforts and ease of western life, thrust into darkness and despair. This brutal conflict had awoken those long sleeping, those who had ceased to care, those of immense power, the ones entrusted with the safe keeping of the often volatile mankind. Although their parallel world too was at risk, lethargy and arrogance ruled them. Against the backdrop of this savage landscape the saga of three such tribes of survivors unfold, and the unwitting chosen among them. One tribe sought to prosper via savagery, one by organized military might, and the other who ruled with no more than fairness and love. In the world we live in today, speaking seems to be the only way one knows how to communicate; as if it is the only way to communicate- or is it? There are many unique children, scattered around the world, who are labelled as, "special needs", or "autistic", or ADHD. And these labels usually come with a negative stigma attached to them. But, what if- what if these children were just... different? What if these children are here, to show us a different, and more unique way of living. What if they are not in need, of "special attention"? What if they are just: special. This fictional (or is it?) short story , is geared to change your perception about these children, and your view point on communication, and the way we as human beings- speak.
