Lianna is about to turn sixteen. And that's the least of her troubles. Every since one fateful night when she was five, mythological monsters and the gods of Mount Olympus seem to be walking straight out of the pages of her Greek mythology books and into her life. Lianna remembers the first encounter she had with a monster to the night she decided her own fate.

Now Lianna and her friends travel the country recruiting for the war Lianna foresees threatening to topple Mount Olympus. But to succeed on her quest, she will have to do more than recruit: she must come to terms with the father who abandoned her; solve the riddle of the Oracle within her, which warns her of coming war; and train demigods who have never held a sword a day in their life.
