This Is a BakuDeku fanfic. Izuku's dream of being a hero changes after he got diagnosed to be quirkless. That dream had become a distant a fantasy but he soon twisted it into a new goal. He decided that no matter what, he was going to help people. He was going to do everything in his power to become a hero of his own. Eiko Chihara and Izuku Midoriya had been inseparable as kids, bonded by their shared dream of becoming heroes together one day. But everything changed when Eiko's father, a beloved Pro Hero, was killed in a villain attack before her first year in junior high. After witnessing and experiencing her father's gruesome death, her grief consumed her and by the end of the year, she had pushed everyone away-including Izuku.
