"I was reaching for stars that didn't exist, caught up in the fantasies born of willful hope. I threw myself in the path of fate because I wanted to be swept away." ... We do stupid, stupid things in the name of those we love. We dedicate ourselves to false promises and we hope that in the end, it all turns out alright. I was never the kind of person who jumped into things without thinking about the consequences. I never dreamed of what could come from some silly mistakes. Two new students come for their 6th year at Hogwarts. Neither of them particularly want to be there. What havoc could a witch and a dark wizard bring to the year? As they both become frustratingly curious about each other, things fall in place that might never have occurred if they had just never met. ... So I started this book because I was bored, and now it's kind of my life accomplishment weirdly enough. It's not perfect and definitely not what it started out as but this fic has parts of my heart and soul in it and I'm proud of how far it's come. Contains toxic but also lovable Mattheo Riddle and an emotionally relatable mc. !!!Finished updating but still doing some editing!!! *WARNING* Contains violence, sexual content, swearing, mentions of abuse, death and possibly more. *I do not own any of the Harry Potter characters, Mattheo Riddle belongs to @yasmineamara, I only own my own characters. Hold On - Dramione
When everything seems to be falling apart, sometimes all you can do is hold on. Hold onto what, is the question though. What do you hold onto when the darkness that is the Dark Lord is snuffing out the light and any hope of the Wizarding World being free? For Draco Malfoy, who is seemingly surrounded by darkness, he's holding onto the one person who might just be smart enough to help him kill Lord Voldemort and finally end this war...Hermione Granger. It's an absolute long shot, a total Hail Mary, and as much as they both hate each other, they can't deny that they need each other's help. It should be simple, right? He feeds her information to help gather and destroy Horcruxes, no one finds out about them, Voldemort dies and the war is won. But nothing is ever that simple, especially in the midst of the darkest and deadliest war in history. A war where they are both on different sides. A war where they can do nothing but hold on.
