Dawn is a 17 year old girl that lives with her mom and little brother Denny. They live in a trailer park in a small town in Nebraska. Her mom is a junkie that is rarely at home with her kids.
Dawn takes care of her little brother with all her life. 
Dawn is usually the one to put food on the table while her mom goes out and gets in trouble.
Denny is a 7 year old boy. 
His mother abuses him and Dawn not only physically but mentally.
