Kathleen had been imprisoned for years. She had no idea who they were or why she was there. Every day for years it had been the same thing. No talking or communicating with her captors after the first year she no longer tried. Getting beaten for making any noise at all. They didn't even speak within hearing distance of her. She was given a book and daily exercise but hadn't seen the sun or outside since she was put in her cell. Until that day when it all changed. Aliens existed and she was going somewhere with them, not sure as to where but at least she was out of her cell. She would not go back in one no matter how nice her new 'cage' seemed. Thinking of continuing this as another story with other humans and aliens. Like after Kathleen's abduction.

Kevin was finally home. Just not in the way that he had dreamed of returning. His family thought he had drowned and ended up in a coma after suffering brain damage. They had no way of knowing what had truly happened or what it meant for their lives and the lives of every last person on earth. The threat to earth only grew with his return as powerful entities, both alien and human, would stop at nothing to take what Kevin had obtained for themselves.
