"Go away, Nightmare." Cross grumbled, glaring through his roommate. "I'm not gonna date a fellow crazy person. Not now."
"Yeah, yeah." Nightmare waves off, smirking. "How long will it take you to realize- This is my asylum. No one'll stop us, no one'll stare. And soon," The octopus shifts closer, his tentacles wrapping around the smaller's delicate body. "It'll be O U R A S Y L U M."
Yeah, yeah. I'm Crossmare trash. What, gonna judge me?

Going for a mythological theme, almost, with my own spin on it. kinda inspired. This Crossmare story. It's not uncommon for God to play, befriend or even toy with other mortals. But rare it is for a God to ever do more than just that. for some Gods, falling inlove and marrying a mortal was unheard of, very uncommon, a mortal and a God may never bare children or fall inlove as some say it is forbidden. Nightmare finds himself in this predicament, a mortal guard catching his eye, he couldn't help but grow fond of this mortal. Cross never thought he'd ever catch the eye of a God, especially one like Nightmare, scared but stubborn, Cross tried to balance his life.
