Before allowing Keith to finish his sentence, a slap quickly marked his cheek and a deep silence filled the air around them. Droplets of water fell right out of the girls' eyes expressing her pain he had struck her with.
"...how dare you.." her voice cracking, "you don't think I would hurt you after all of the shit we've been through together? After all this time you still don't trust me.. I thought you trusted me so I gave you my world" trying to stay strong in front of her love, she couldn't help but question their relationship. What was she doing wrong now? Who was she hurting? Herself, the love of her life, or the fact that he's so disgusted and angry with her he can't stand looking at her any moment longer.
"Do you even love me?" She said almost breaking down. Keith stared into her brown eyes filled with water. She loved the man so much she would beg for him, plead for him, worshiped the man, and would even kill for him but only to find out he wouldn't do the same for her.. It broke her heart.
