Chantelle is a 16 year old girl living in a utopia. A world without hard decisions, heartbreak, unplanned death, and unwanted memories. When a boy from her past comes back into her life to help recruit her to the organization that got her mother killed, Chantelle has to choose whether or not to follow in her mothers footsteps and bring justice to the world, or stand back and live a lie. Chantelle also has to navigate her romantic feelings even though 16 year olds are put on pills to keep them from feeling love.

Had more than one kid? Dead. However, anyone under 18 that commits a crime will be jailed instead of killed and has until their 18th birthday to prove their innocence or they will be killed as well. That is, until this year. The rules have been changed. Instead of just accepting that your fate is to die, all prisoners that turn 18 within the year that have not proven their innocence can choose to fight for their lives against every other criminal. The last one standing will be freed and have their records wiped clean from any crimes. There's just one small issue.
