Within the Rocky Mountains of Utah rests a small town, Lovington. Built as a ranching town, it soon industrialized into a meat processing town, whose main export expanded the town borders well beyond what it once was. However, this town has a history. Deep within the mountains just outside of town rests an abandoned slaughterhouse, and an ancient evil that hunts the townsfolk. However, numerous search parties and investigations have left the police confused as there are no remains. Until, new to town teenager Logan sees a mysterious creature roaming the town border, with what appears to be a hand in its mouth. Just what exactly is hiding in those woods? Armed with a camera and a rag tag team, Logan and his friends search the woods to hunt for this creature. Will they succeed? Or will they be the next of the Hunted?

Atlas has fallen, and Teams RWBY and JNPR fall back while coming up with a plan to rescue (Y/N). But then they receive a distress signal from a team of soldiers stationed at a base called Romero Station, Teams RWBY and JNPR set out to investigate in the hopes that (Y/N) could be there. But little do they know that they are about to stumble upon a new threat, one that's possibly even more dangerous than the Grimm. Possibly more dangerous than Salem even. This story is inspired "The Last Voyage of the Infinite Succor" in the Halo Graphic Novel, John Carpenter's 1982 film "The Thing", and the first "Dead Space" game. The scent of the short teen used to have was gone, replaced with the putrid smell of death and rot that covered the whole room and the killer himself. Blood smudged all over the teen and onto the older man as he attempted to escape. He got hungry and tired. He just wanted to eat and then sleep. He was preparing the girl, cutting her body apart and tearing the flesh off the bones, which is why the room was such a mess with her blood. Now, he had the boy in his hands. The hunger overtook him. The sharp pain of large "canine" teeth being plunged into his neck made Cameron scream. It was cut short, his whole body freezing up as the crazy man sunk his large fangs into his neck, ripping a large chunk of the boy's flesh in between his teeth.
