Hesse is a 28-year old, unambiguous and depressed executive of a family ice cream company. He has been trying to work well with his father but they don't get along and it has been tearing Hesse up inside. Things only get worse when Hesse's father dies suddenly and leaves Hesse to run the entire estate. Overwhelmed by his new obligations, Hesse turns to alcohol and dating apps for an escape from life. He meets Melanie, a girl who seems to be kind, caring and a nice overall person. Too nice, maybe! Hesse doesn't know if he wants to date Melanie but once they match online she will not leave him alone. Things get even more stressful for Hesse as he learns that his father owns secret entities that no one knew anything about.... Stress and self-doubt lead Hesse into a very trusting relationship with Melanie and the more he confides in her the more he relies on her Nice Girl attributes. But, Melanie must have another side...
