It's Officer Lucy Chen's first day on the job at the Mid-Wilshire station of the LAPD. She has two goals in mind for her first day. One: to make her first impression as the best rookie they've ever had. And two: to definitely not fall in love with any of her co-workers.
She plans to successfully achieve both of them on her first day. However, her plan to not fall in love completely disappears when she finds herself in the Captain's office... and that's where their story begins.

Unwritten Protocol
Lucy Chen thought she had it all figured out. The road to detective, a new rank, a clean slate. What she didn't plan for was being thrown back into the same rotation as Timothy Bradford. Tim. Her ex. Her once-training officer. And, unfortunately, her biggest distraction. Freshly broken up and still feeling the sting, Lucy was determined to keep things professional.. until the day Sergeant Grey promoted her to temporary training officer. Now she's on equal ground with Tim... and their rookies just happen to be best friends. The chances of two training officers secretly hooking up? Low. But never zero. Because in the LAPD, secrets don't stay buried for long-not when rookies are watching, blackmail is brewing, and one wrong move could destroy everything they've worked for. "Cops gossip more than middle schoolers," Tim muttered. Lucy smirked. "Then we'd better give them something to talk about." When the line between duty and desire starts to blur again, Lucy has to choose, follow the rules... or break them all for the man she swore she was done with. Guys if you saw this before this edit pls forgive me, I do NOT know who wrote 'uwu' on this and I promise it's not me. Swear, someone else messed it up
