They started attacking everyone, wyverns, orcs, goblins, trolls, mages, elves, dwarves and other demi human-looking monsters attacked and slaughtered everyone they see, children were not spared either, As they kept attacking the City The Military was alarmed, and ready to fight whoever these invaders are and where they came from, How will a Very advanced and futuristic civilization react to such barbaric and savage Roman looking army that looked like they came from Ancient Roman times but with Fantasy Monsters on their side? On June 5th 2053, Second Lieutenant Daniel Ramirez is enjoying his day in New York City when a strange purple dome appears in the middle of Central Park. Medieval soldiers pour out of the dome, along with fantasy minotaurs and centaurs; they start attacking everyone they can find. I'm writing this story based on the Anime, I never read the manga or the novel. Despite the title, the story introduces a vast expansion in the world and lore of gate as well as changes, but everything remains true to the Gate formula. At first It was supposed to be only a Gate X Marine fanfic but over time it developed into an alternative plot line diverging from the original so don't be surprised why the first season strictly sticks to canon.
