I'm just lying here in stillness and darkness wondering why. Why did this have to happen to my mom? We have nothing we can't even afford a house. Here I am a 14 year old boy that lives in a shelter home. Mom says one day we'll get out. But I've lost all hope. And I know my mom has no hope either. If she did I wouldn't have to hear her cry herself to sleep at night. I hate seeing her in so much pain. I wish, I could get a job. Maybe since I'm younger and a boy they'll hire me. Who am I kidding? My mom's in her 30's she's not old either. Sometimes the idiots that run this place kick my mom out for the night because she's making too much noise after hours. My mom was crying; is that too hard to understand? I hate this place. Well, tomorrow's our first day apart since summer started. They're forcing me to go to high school. I'm okay with school but I don't want to leave my mom alone in this world. Well, I guess there's a better chance of me getting a job if I'm in high school. You know there's one thing I remember my mom telling me when I was young. "Never frown; you never know who's falling in love with your smile." Words to live by. Let's hope they help me tomorrow.Complete

The world was full of trouble. Full of confusion and a catastrophic dilemma. One couldn't imagine at what destructive measure it would disintegrate into. While so many things were done to make the world a better place. At some point, it would later be revealed that the biggest problem was not a lack of educational facilities or a lack of health facilities. Believe it or not, Africa, also wasn't the world's biggest problem. The problem with the world today is sin. Sin brought about problems that would perpetuate into many more generations to come! It's almost unbelievable that someone would leave greener pastures to settle in a beat-down environment like Earth. One would wonder what this being could ever want. If life existed beyond the surfaces of our universe, why stay? If there was the possibility of walking with a glory that outshined the brightness of the sun, why hesitate? God cannot love us anymore than He loves our neighbor. His love tank is so vast that it accommodates everyone. Had He only sent Jesus Christ to the rich or the poor in African households, His love would then be conditioned to those that qualified. What makes His love so unique and strange is that He loves the broken and the sinners. He loves those of us that are unlikeable and unattractive. He persuaded His only son to die gruesomely to have all of mankind at His bosom. In the movies, opening doors and buying a bouquet of flowers is symbolic of love. In families, love is expressed in many different kind of forms. Even animals have ways in which they show affection. While all of that might stand out. It cannot be compared to the love of God. God can feel love, and He is love!Complete
Stuck In A Shuttle
There's probably a ton of reasons why you are feeling the way you are feeling at this very moment. Sometimes emotions just sneak up on us without our realization and we drown our pains or sorrows by adapting to a certain pattern of living. We develop coping mechanisms per se. What if there was a reason why you experienced what you experienced? Your pain could be the very thing that microphones your way to the person you are meant to become. It could be a highway through which people could walk on in order to find the hope they are looking for. Why you? Why does it have to be you? Why not anybody else? Better yet! Why not you? Have you ever asked yourself that question? Pretty silly huh? Really though, why shouldn't you be in that position right now? Why should it be anyone else? What if your situation could be the answer you were desperately looking for? You can either look at your pain in your own perspective or you could tilt the angle a bit and change the focus. What if you were looking at it all wrong and asking the wrong questions?Complete

How to Find Purpose and Peace: Why Am I Here?
Why am I here? What is my purpose? What is the meaning of life? Why am I alive? It seems that since the dawn of time we have been asking ourselves this very question. Kings and philosophers have puzzled and theorized, and paupers and plebeians toil under the sun wondering if there's more to life. Even today we seem to be frantically running here or there trying to get the latest scoop, wondering if someone has finally figured it out. People look high and low, and they try a number of things only to still feel unhappy and dissatisfied. In my own life, the only thing that has made me truly happy and given me peace for my soul is God. He has been the chief help in combating my anxiety and depression. For me, God has been the foundation that I've placed my life around and have built my identity. I write about how I've found purpose, peace and how you can too! Journey: Into The Never-ending Way
Why does one travel from a well known neighborhood to another where the outcome of the visit is not yet understood? I could name the streets and places in my neighborhood. There was a well defined map in my head that used comfortable explanations for what to expect. Then, everything changed. I drove up the hill, parked the car in a familiar place. When I walked into the house all the furniture was the same. Yet, when I sat beside him everything I knew went away. My mind was empty, only able to engage in superficial talk. I was afraid of his cancer. I didn't know what to say or how to help. I was lost in the whole sorry business. I gave him what comfort my presence was good for and, he gracefully accepted it like a brother would. Behind the warmest smile I could draw up was a deserted beach, waves of questions washing against my feet. A great ocean met the horizon and disappeared somewhere beyond where eyes could take a mind. Where would the questions take me? Where do you start such a quest?Complete
Being the difference I want to see in the world.
As sad as it may be, we live in a world where the rich are getting richer, and the poor live in worse conditions every day. A world where people have to live behind masks and hide who they truly are, just to be accepted into this corrupted society. A world where everyone primarily thinks of himself and not about what he could to help his brother in need? Dive into my vision, be bold enough to read these chapters, and accept that you may have also been committing these mistakes that corrupt our society and together, let us grow into better versions of ourselves and begin to wonder; what if this had happened to me? How would I have reacted? What can I do to change my community? What if I decide to manifest my dreams every day instead of wishing they would happen? Every single part of this will be entirely unique but all interconnected by one subject, "the human nature". Only together can we change the world, don't be so lazy to think that it is the government's job to do so; take your responsibilities and act to see a change.Complete
Boundaries of Obsession
His eyes told how dark his thoughts were, what devilish aura he shadowed if she accepted him and was ready to listen to him no one could imagine his doings. She only seeks solitude, but he seeks her, and he craves her as if his life depended on her. He is the cause of her pain. She only wishes to go away from all the emotions, but he can never let that happen. He can show his tears to her, but can she wipe them? Maybe God wanted to create an unforgettable story. His aura screams power that no one can deny except bowing. Her soul reflects others' sins for what others fear to acknowledge. Did she hate him for giving her pain? No, she never hated him. She changed herself.. but what change? She loves him! Maybe not... then what changed...? Love, why is it so difficult either to gain or to lose... "I don't like it when you think about things other than me," he said Is this the start of his madness, or is he already drowned in insanity? She is his heart.........She is the eternal echo God cast into existence for his life. ●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●● He is taking every step near to her, his deep dark eyes looking at her serene, calm face... she is looking directly into his deep, dark ebony eyes... she can clearly see the insanity in his eyes... "Sweetheart, I told you not to think about other things.... but why would you like to provoke me... ha, " his voice is deadly low, sending an electrifying jolt. She is just standing in front of him looking into his sinister soul... He touched her cheek gently, rubbing the soft, gentle, dried tear marks.. He kissed her forehead... she closed her eyes, accepting her fate from which she tried to run away.... "Tell me, sweetheart, what punishment should I give him." A dark mysterious smirk playing on his handsome face... "He is your sister's soon to be husband," she said as he didn't know. He chuckled, a mocking, sinister, extremely insane smile
