Elisabeth 'Beth' Bennett wasn't born in the same circle as the other girls at Netherfield Academy, but her mother's advantageous third marriage has allowed her to enjoy their world. Now she's at the end of her education and is looking forward to what lies beyond.
That is, if she can make it to the end of the term in one piece.
In a bid to bring in more students, the academy is going co-ed, and has brought in the boys early to test the waters. Among them are Charlie Bingley, a cheerful boy with a soft spot for Beth's best friend, Jenny. His companion William Darcy isn't at all pleased with the situation, or with Beth for that matter.
While Beth tries to avoid interacting with the boys wherever possible, it seems fate is determined to throw them together.

Calling him tall dark and handsome would be the understatement of the century. He is the arrogant quarterback and one of the most popular guys in shcool. He is as I mention previously the reincarnation of the devil in his actions and a Greek God in the looks department, with startling blue eyes, a sinful body and gorgeous hair, who may at different times define the words Cocky and Adorable. Quite a contrast isn't it? Well that's who he is, or for that matter how we all are... a bit of both. Ashton Fobes is Alli's bestfriend, well Ex-Bestfriend, he is also her arch nemisis, her sworn enemy, but he is also the only one who can make her push her limits and challenge her in ways she never thought possible. Soon they were playing with Cupid's arrows trying to set up the unlikeliest couple imaginable, but what they seemed to have forgotten was Fate's wierd sense of humor and so it turned out while they were playing with Cupid's Arrows, he was aiming them at these two instead. I still wasn't used to him calling me by my first name, but since he used it this morning, he hasn't gone back to the previous "Miss Bennet". I sighed before stepping out of the dressing room. "Sir, I'm not so sure about this one..." I trailed off, while giving a slight twirl so he could see the whole dress. When I looked up, Mr. Knight's eyes were roaming over every inch of my form. I could feel the heat rushing towards my face and a funny tingling feeling settling in my stomach. Why did he have to look at me like that? It was almost like he wanted to... No, this was Mr. Knight, he wouldn't be looking at me like that... and I was most definitely not excited at the mere thought of it. No, in fact, I was uncomfortable, so uncomfortable that I wished I had something to cover myself up with. But, it seemed that I forgot how to operate my legs and was now glued to the spot. Mr. Knight cleared his throat, looking away from me and avoiding eye contact al together. "Uhm, yes... I think you might be right. Let's try another one." He pulled out his phone and started scrolling through it. That was strange. Was Mr. Knight actually uncomfortable? ...
