Annabeth Chase doesn't really pay attention to the new people she sees strolling the streets of New York. She's just happy to go to high school with all her friends from Camp Half Blood and Camp Jupiter, like a "normal" person. When these strangers show up at their high school,however, she starts to see how "strange" they are.

Sophie Foster's on a mission. She and her friends have been sent to New York in search of remaining Neverseen members, since their last base was destroyed,along with everyone inside. When news of chaos in New York reach the Black Swan, they're sent to investigate. Disguised as high school students, they try to stay distant and observe, until a blonde, grey eyed girl comes and talks to them,and Sophie realizes they can use all the help they can get.

Two people from entirely different worlds. Can a single prophecy being those worlds together?

All of her girls were getting rest, taking the opportunity to relax with the very few days of peace they had left. All except one. In the distance, the goddess could hear the distinct sound of metal striking against wood. She took quiet steps, and watched Icaria Kane from a distance. The girl breathed heavily, her body slumped from exhaustion. "Icaria?" Artemis asked, stepping through the early morning fog. "Why do you cry?" The demigods body tightened, urging the tears to stop falling. She turned her body away from her goddess, clutching Hearth in her hands.

In this fanfic, some things are in a alternate world. The Black Swan is a very popular and troublesome rebel group and the Neverseen is loyal to the Royals. In their world, everyone lives for two reasons: To be a Royal or to serve the Royals. Fitz is a Royal, son of King Alden and Queen Della. His sister is Princess Biana. His best friend is Keefe, who has a rough childhood. His goal and dream is to be able to catch the Moonlark, the rebellious leader of the group Black Swan. The Moonlark has never been caught, even when Fitz one days comes close. He is determined to be able to catch the Moonlark before he becomes King. Sophie is the rebellious leader of the Black Swan. All her raids and plans have always been successful and she has never been caught. To everyone that is not her friends, they think the Moonlark is a tall, raven-haired, pale blue eyed male. There life changes when the future king of Enternelia and the rebellious leader of the Black Swan are chosen to become Cognates. Fitz's life starts crumbling downwards as he soon realizes that he is crushing hard on his soon to be cognate. Sophie, on the other hand, is really just worried that Fitz will find out about her. This isn't some coincidence or freak dream, she later finds out from a host of strange individuals who claim they're from Olympus, the grandoise home of the gods themselves. She is actually a modern reincarnation of the goddess Persephone, and she's not the only one. A few of her classmates also happen to represent the gods and goddesses from popular Greek myths, and the fact that all of them are present means that something monumental is about to happen. Something like being the girl to change Persephone's future, to break the cycle of kidnapper and victim - all by passing a trial.
