When a 15 year old named Y/N moves to New York with their family, they have a hard time adjusting to the new city life after having lived in a small town their whole life. After working there for a month, you started dating your boss, Daniel. Everything was great. You were happy and felt ready to take on anything. Until Dan started drinking. One night, you and Dan got into a huge argument, and he hit you. Ever since then, you were terrified of him. He was easily angered and wasn't afraid to hit you as long as no one was looking. He made your life a living hell, especially during work since he was your boss. You were never in the mood, but that didn't stop him. You learned to just take it. After a year, you had enough. While he was out on a work trip, you packed your things and moved hours away and never looked back. You now live in a small apartment in the city. For the past 2 weeks, you've been checking your back every second and making sure to lock everything. You're scared he might find you. Eventually, you got hired at a job.
