Imagine a world like ours where there are people born with unique abilities.
Some can teleport from place to place in the blink of an eye, while others can create fire from nothing with the snap of their fingers. These special people, the ones with abilities, are being targeted, and their powers exploited by underground organizations that wish to use their abilities for their own gain.
Alex runs a halfway house for these such people. His ability prevents him from feeling, and a lifetime of not being able to feel the sunlight's golden rays, a brisk gust of fall air, or the touch of another person has left him a lonely shell of a man. After a girl named Margo is dropped off at his door, begging him not to touch her, Alex's hard exterior begins to crack. When the people who have been exploiting Margo's abilities for years track her down and try to take her back, Alex and Margo must decide whether they are strong enough to stand together, or if they are too broken to fight back.
