I'm guessing that you think this story will be cute and fluffy based off the cover, right? Well you're completely wrong. This story will focus on four teenagers that drink and smoke. You'll see from all sides of the story and the romance that blooms and withers away. This story will not end the way you want it to and I can already guarantee a good sum of you will hate it.
This story will have homosexual relationships along with heterosexual relationship, there will be very very light sexual scenes later on the book as they get older and be prepared to feel some heartbreak.
WARNING: this book MIGHT make you realize how fucked up the world is for some kids despite being straight, white, privileged whatever. Nothing is perfect.

Just when she was starting to think that she might be able to be happy again, it all goes to crap. Her life seems to be a never ending string of heart break. Maybe the whole universe really is against her. Warning: This story's going to get a bit dark/depressing. And even though it's clearly labeled as such but I still feel I need to say this is a mature girlxgirl story so there will be sex. In this society, everyone has a soulmate. And the way to find yours is just look. Along with a soulmate, everyone has a small tattoo on their cheek with a symbol. Some could be a star, a flower, a yinyang, a fish, or even waves. There are so many people that the symbols are almost limitless. The tattoos don't care about gender or number. There could be gay matches, and there could even be polyamorous matches. The tattoos will tingle when you are near to your sm. And they will glow if you have found only one of your sm's if your match was poly. The trick is, you don't get the tattoo until you are 16. And even if you are near your match, as long as one of you are not of age, your tattoo will not tingle. Also, they are normal tattoos (except you don't get it or choose it, it just appears) so you can get rid of it. But if you do, your sm won't die but they will get very sick. The main characters of this story, Violet West (18) and Harper Black (20), both have a flame tattoo on their cheek. They live in the same state but for 4 years Harper paniced because she couldn't find her match. She wasn't sure if it was because her sm wasn't of age yet or if her sm lived far away. For 2 years Violet also paniced but she knew that some people don't find their sm for 5-10 years after they come of age, so she wasn't as scared as Harper. They are gonna be some cliches, some plot twists and humor. Some cute lovey-dovey stuff and occasional mature content.Also will have stuff related to mental health and LGBTQ.
