They ignored her in silence. But the silence remembered. Exiled without a crime, and stripped of name and voice, Melena vanishes into the forest beneath Biringan city that crowns beauty and burns what it fears. There, beneath root and grief, she finds the one thing the kingdom could not give her: space to exist. When she learns the Fountain of Forgetfulness might return her to her world, she faces a choice crueler than death-stay in a place that broke her, or leave behind even the pain that shaped her. But the girl who wasn't chosen refuses to vanish. And when the city begins to tremble under the weight of her absence, even the king must reckon with the love he buried too deep to name. (A story of silence, survival, and the echo that won't go quiet-Melena's journey to Biringan is a haunting--yet fascinating story to the ones who stay anyway.)
