When Ashley miraculously got rid of the cursed Serene Sapphire, she believed that the crazy adventure had finally come to an end. All she wanted to do next was to simply enjoy a normal life as a Darkusan. Well, as normal as it could get on the strange planet Darkus that she now called her 'home'. But with the recurring Sapphire dreams, unreachable one-eyed grandma and her missing ex-crush/Minister of Negova, she couldn't help but wonder if she should be prepared for another twist of turns in her life.

It is within a single vessel, known as the CSS Groundskeeper, do things begin to influence the "Things To Be," as labeled by followers of the pantheon. Within this ship, two individuals will face the beginning of what is to be unimaginable horrors within an unforgiving universe, both with the same goal: do not succumb to the darkness.
