Based upon the song by Death Cab for Cutie and written by Ben Gibbard and Chris Walla. It's a vague story that I wrote for class in high school. It's nowhere near complete, but one day I hope to expand on this idea. It's short, but bittersweet. Hope you enjoy and I'm open to feedback and comments!

I Fell in Love with a Bad Boy
CRINGE WARNING! First book I ever wrote on here!! -- "Sometimes the person who you are willing to take a bullet for is the person behind the gun." I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy. Cynical Souls
COMPLETED✅ Two high school teenagers finding themselves, analyzing this ever changing world, and building love. This is the type of love you wish you found in high school but probably know way too well that it only exists as fiction. Today I'm turning my fiction to reality. ❣️•••❣️ Excerpt: Just as I was about to seek shelter under some building's roof, the tires of a car come to a halt, I wonder who might pity the lonely girl walking in the rain. The passenger window rolls down, and I spot the most unexpected person seated behind the wheel. "Get in" comes out his voice, and I must've stood there agape for a few moments because next comes his rhetorical question. "Are you getting in or continuing walking in the rain?" Eyebrows raised expectantly. He sounds annoyed, like he regrets his decision to ever stop and help me. ❣️•••❣️ #5 in cynical #2 in loveandfriendship #1 in opinionated #4 in ihatelife #10 in nerdgirl #10 in HighschoolRomance #26 in GoodGirlBadBoy *contains mature themes. *contains cursing.Complete
Behind My Eyes.
come pick my mind and stay awhile, make yourself comfortable. it's awfully lonely in here. - inside this book, you'll find five distinct parts: simply me, which tells you almost everything you need to know about me. you, which tells you about my experience with love and the state of bliss it brings you. after you, which tells you about my experience with heartbreak and hate. nightmares, which is every scary thing that occurs in my mind and things that instill fear in those who read it. the book closes with recovery, where we explore self-confidence and self-discovery. these are the inner workings of my mind, i'm not going to sugar coat it for you: it's a sad, depressing place. this all comes from the pages of my journals so i'm sparing you the tear-stained pages, consider yourself lucky. hope you enjoy! - feel free to comment or message me :)Complete
The Stop Over✔️
Everything was going as planned in Brie's life till Covid-19 came. She was all set to go home, even got on a plane. But what happens when their stop over was the last destination they would go. She had no choice but to stay with the only person she knew in town. Charlie. Her brothers best friend, who she thought she hated but really, deep down always loved. Charlie had seen Brie since she was a toddler, always protected her and treated her like family. But then he grew up and realised that he was in love with this girl but could never act on the feelings. What will happen when both of them are quarantined together with no escape what so ever? --------------------------------------- "I just didn't think Brian would be happy with it, but now looking back I should have asked you.. Natalie Smith wasn't the best date." He chuckled. "Well you should have, I would have been the best date." I said when a pout, this was definitely the alcohol talking. "Ah don't pout bug. Like I said if I had the courage I would have, but like always I never really do. Even now." He said walking towards me. "What does that mean?" He came close and cupped my face in his hand. "I've been in love with you since fifth grade Brie. I know it's stupid, but it's true. Now I've just ruined our friendship and tomorrow I'll just blame it on the alcohol. I'm just rude to you because I don't know how else to react... I sorry". ---------------------------------------- this story is something really spontaneous, not planned. but pls enjoy😌😌Complete

THAT FIRST BREAK (Broken Redemption Prequel 1)
Choosing her cost me everything I'd ever loved... including her. I had everything a guy could ask for, a loving family, the perfect small-town life, and a promising future I had worked hard for. It should have been enough. She was off-limits, my parent's best friend's daughter, practically my sister. I fought my feelings, pretending our soul-deep connection didn't exist. When she confessed she felt the same, I pushed her away, believing our friendship mattered more than temporary infatuation. That she agreed should have come as a relief, but it left me with this void I didn't know how to fill. It's what drove me to the bonfire that night. Right there, with our friends as witnesses, I claimed her. Told her I loved her and made her promises I shouldn't have made. Hours later, it all came crashing down in a whirlwind of fire and ashes. That one split-second choice to go after a girl that wasn't meant for me cost me everything I loved. I never should have crossed that line or given in. It's why she'll forever be my greatest love and deepest regret. This tragic story is the beginning of our end...Complete
