A girl with a mutation, a genetic mutation. After a freak accident (Y/N)'s parents staged to try and get rid of her, you now have super powers! Specifically, levitation, enhanced hearing, enhanced speed, the ability to dry off in an instant, the ability to summon a weapon, sorta overwrite daemos magic(you learned from Tsuki) and the ability to change certain physical features on your body. Like you can add horns to yourself if you wish! But how do you do when you hide your magic from everyone but Ava, Andrew, and Devin, when 5 magic users just invaded your home? Also, how did you let yourself fall for one of them?!

So I've been reading a lot of stories, and I'm gonna try to go episode by episode. I'll kind of use an oc to help me with actions and reactions, but I'm making the reader Ava's adopted sister, who's parents were never the kindest, or even remotely like parents, since they were normal, and you weren't. But of course Andrew and Devin love you to bits as much as they love Ava, even though they don't know you abilities. You a magical girl! This story will have mature themes, but I'll warn ya before the chapters start, so you can skip to where I say the mature moment is over! And I made the cover photo with the help of a base! Still looking for the owner of said base though ^^;

"Wanted to be bold." I blush while I avoid eye contact. "Devin needed to borrow clothes for gym." I stare at my bare legs. "I should've told her no." He shrugs, biting into his sub. "Not a fan of exposing the body." I nibble on my burrito. "I just don't want anyone to get the wrong idea." I tuck my hair behind my ear. "That you're easy." My face reddens as I look at him in the corner of my eyes. After a few moments, I nod. He sighs. "The only thing that makes a girl easy is if she lets every and any guy inside." He runs his fingers through his hair. "Clothes or attitude has nothing to do with it." I trace a circle on my thigh. "And a guy that believes otherwise is either a dick or a rapist." I smile. "Avery." "Ava." "Your brain works in wonderful ways." I get more comfortable and lean on his shoulder. "So you've said." I giggle. "I'm glad to share the same name as you." ~ A girl, a perfectionist, named Avery Jones has been in love with her childhood friend's brother for as long as she can remember. He's never noticed her, though, he doesn't really notice anyone. He's sort of an insouciant philanderer. They couldn't be any different, the only thing that connects them is their names. Oh, by the way, his name is also Avery Jones; no relation. As crazy as it might sound, it's true. Anyway, it isn't until she becomes his mentor that he finally sees her. But will this new circumstance spark a connection or show just how different they are?

"So who the heck am I?" I stared defiantly at Freya. "I am a normal person. I go to high school. I have parents. What am I ?" I asked. "That is what we need to find out. Do you trust us enough to stay with us? Help us? You are powerful. You are the only Palenthian, first time in centuries who has magic inside her. Powerful magic. More powerful than most Valen. I can feel it. Stay with us and help us slay monsters. Please." I gulped. "What will I get for that?" "Answers." Renna Evans was just another normal girl in another normal world, living with her normal (and filthy rich) parents and going to a normal high school. Basically her life was as normal as could be. Until she went on a normal walk on a hill side. Little did Renna know that from that point, her life would be anything but normal. Welcome to the world of Renna Evans; a world which is divided into two parts. Those who call themselves The Valenthians, possessing power and magic; and those without it are the Palenthians. What is Renna, really? Will she be able to do what is called upon her? Will she be able to place the pieces of the puzzle which will give her the perfect (or heart-shattering) picture of her past? Will she be able to prove her worth in this new world? Or will her world collapse? And what about the handsome but mysterious Ryan Carter? What exactly is he hiding? Renna will discover a world of peace and war, love and hatred, trust and betrayal; all in her single quest for one thing. FREEDOM.
