"Why'd you leave me?" I asked. He stopped walking and turned to me.
"I had too." Was all he said. He turned away from me and started walking away.
"Yeah," I paused and wiped a tear that escaped my eye. "BUT WHY?!?" I said louder than expected.
He didn't look back, he just got in his car and drove away.
