Joohyun has always had trouble trusting others. People around her have always disappointed her in one way or other all her life, so she has very little expectations from others. Naturally she never had any close friends since she finds the concept of opening up to people absolutely horrifying. You can't give people anything of yourself if you don't want it to be used against you, is what she believes.
It's not like she doesn't want friends. She is after all a teenager. She hopes one day she can open up and stop being so judgemental. As she finds herself in a new high school in a brand new town, will she finally be able to let go of her fears and start anew?
