An Angel in the Dark

Melanie is a young girl in her early teens, who falls into a deep coma after an unfortunate accident. She is completely aware of her surroundings, only she can't open her eyes to see or move. Lost in the darkness, Melanie is so alone she is going mad. But when Darcy arrives, she begins to recover little by little, unbeknownst to the doctors.

Darcy, a senior in high school, is deathly afraid of hospitals, as well as nearly everything else. However, she puts aside her fear to visit Melanie, a coma patient she had never seen before in her life. Little by little, Darcy begins to overcome her many phobias and discover who she is.
