Golden Boy

The first time I met Austin Hale Rutherford was at a "friendly" party between our three sister schools-Esperanza University, Soledad College, and Lucilla Institute of Technology. We were surrounded with drunk college students. I was there as student council president of EU and he was there with his brothers- Mitchell, MVP of SC basketball team, and Dayton, student council president of SC. I was in my khakis and sweater; he was in his ripped jeans and black tight shirt. We seem to be worlds apart in that party. But the lines blurred between us when he discovered my dark secret.
