The first thing that hit me first was my mates scent, it smelled like the forest after it rained and wild lavender. I kept my eyes closed as the scent got stronger, my wolf was going crazy saying mate over and over in my head. I heard footsteps behind me knowing it had to be my mate and my lips curled up in a smile and I feel butterflies in my stomach and my heart beats faster at the excitement.
