After the battle at the end of Blood of Olympus, Nico decides to stay at Camp Half Blood, at least, for now. However, that doesn't mean he's changed. There's still no one who could possibly understand him. Well, Will has been especially irritating lately, but what can be done about that? Nico soon realizes that even though the battle with Gaea has ended, he still has battles of his own to face. As determined as he is to face these trials alone, some burdens aren't meant for only one person to bear . . .

He can't stand the sneers he continues to receive around Camp Half-Blood and isn't bound to add his sexuality to the list of reasons why people judge him. Meanwhile, Will Solace is the brightest and most lackadaisical character placed around Camp Half-Blood.
