Heroes can fall in more ways than one.

Demigod Xaray is sent on a quest to kill after he massacred a whole town. Weakened by the strain, he falls prey to a haughty vampire and is cared for by a fellow prisoner, the nagi Vasa. Torn between his orders and his developing feeling for Vasa, Xaray plots his fulfillment of the quest.

The angel Zaheria leaves the Underworld for the first time in centuries to track down her murderous half-brother until she's sidetracked by heartbroken half-Kin Estrad. He shows her things that turn her world upside down, making her feel more alive than she ever did as a mortal.

Dark forces are working to keep the estranged siblings apart while ensuring Xaray fulfills his quest. The gods are moving more than ever before, and not all of them are benevolent. Can the second massacre be stopped in time?

Clueless of how to use and command the staff, her parents soon sends her a mentor to teach her how to use it while they go on a vacation for 6 months. Her friend, Shaera Ivy ,the Princess of the Kingdom of Tarvisium soon to be welding the staff and her other friend, Augustine, helps her to gain her courage to rule the Kingdom. Unfortunately, some disasters strike up when her mentor is unavailable to attend her as he suddenly goes 'sick'. She soon finds someone, striding through the door claiming that they will help her and teach her how to use this staff. And that someone, isn't someone to be trusted. Marie finds herself tangled up with disasters and broken up portals leading them to their disaster. Now she can only rethink back her life decisions when she realized, she messed up, pretty bad. Well, what a nice way to start ruling your Kingdom Marie.
