Mic is a teenage witch, and student at Ironfall Academy for the Supernaturally Gifted. As he starts his Junior year at school, he runs into an old friend.

Quinn is a water sprite, and also just starting her transition to be recognized as a girl. When she moves back to her hometown, no one from her past seems to recognize her, until she runs into her childhood best friend, Mic.

As the two become close to each other once more, rumors start going around the school about suspicious activity involving a local gang, one that is said to use dark magic. With disappearing students and the school's policies becoming more and more intense, Mic, Quinn, and their friends may have to take some action of their own to save their community.
