17-year-old Caitlyn Barton struggles to fit in with the other juniors. Caitlyn deals with depression and body shaming. She struggles to love herself and her body, causing her to go on intense diets. These diets seem to harm her body even more. As students around start realizing the situation they have put her in, they gradually cease from teasing and bullying her. Throughout this book, Caitlyn Barton learns to accept her body and who she is. She realizes that there's no way for her to change and that she should accept and appreciate what has been given to her.
