Nearly five years ago, the Clone Wars ended with a purge that wiped an entire people from the galaxy. Jess, formerly known as CC-9976, a member of the 21st Nova Corps, shot down his Jedi general in accordance with Order 66. Now, Jess finds himself a stormtrooper for the Galactic Empire. The Empire is not the Republic that he was once so proud to serve. Jess finds himself being tested in ways he never was before. As the Empire tightens its fist around the galaxy, Jess makes the decision to escape. Jess makes his way out of Imperial control and, eventually, into the hands of the Rebellion. War is all he's ever known. Whether he is a clone, an Imperial soldier, or a Rebel fighter, one fact remains. He is a trooper and war is in his blood. 

Ryn Alera has only known slavery throughout her life. The last place she expected to find help was with the Empire. When Ryn is due to serve the rest of her life on Kessel, she makes a stand for her freedom.  When a rogue stormtrooper helps her escape, Ryn finds herself trapped in a whirlwind of war and danger. Gradually, she adjusts to her new life on the run, and later, in the Rebellion. As she grows closer with Jess, the man who helped her escape, her values begin to change. She wasn't born a fighter, but if the galaxy's freedom requires it, she will be a soldier. 

Warning

This book, while being a work of fiction, still contains real elements and deals with the subject of war. There will be chapters that deal with abuse, death, slight gore, etc.

Anakin Skywalker will not become Darth Vader. Not yet, anyway. Padmé saved him from a lifetime of regret by pulling him out of the fateful battle between Mace Windu and Chancellor Palpatine. But at some point, he still has to decide if his heart lies with the Jedi or the Sith. Palpatine, undeterred by the loss of his potential apprentice, still devises a way to create the Empire and wipe out the vast majority of the Jedi. He sends various threats directly to Anakin and Padmé to convince them that they and their newborn children are in danger. Fearing for their safety, they split. For years, Anakin and Leia wander throughout the galaxy, dodging the Empire and searching for a greater purpose. Meanwhile, Padmé raises Luke while working with Bail Organa and Mon Mothma to lead the fight against the oppressive Galactic Empire. Anakin is constantly tempted by the Dark Side. Padmé struggles to help the Rebels succeed. Their children mean everything to both of them. The story also features other characters we all know and love, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Han Solo, and Boba Fett. Most of the story takes place 7 years after Revenge of the Sith. The Clone Wars end, Chancellor Palpatine is revealed as the Sith Lord and taken down by the Jedi, the chips are found and deactivated, Order 66 never happens and the Clones are finally given the rights they deserve for all they've done. All is well. And yet, the fighting doesn't seem to be over. A deeply wounded Republic, left reeling from a war orchestrated by its own leader, desperately needs someone to blame for the all the death and chaos in the Galaxy, the deception by the Sith and the suffering across the systems. With the true perpetrator dead, it eventually sets its sight on the Jedi and turns its back on them. The Jedi themselves, exhausted by the long years of battle and hardships, don't defend themselves while the Clones watch horrified as the ones who stood by their side throughout all the horror and bloodshed are scorned and shunned by the very thing they swore to protect.

The 501st, led by the Young General Skywalker and Commander Tano, are dispatched on a grueling and treacherous mission to the planet of Mygeeto. Their mission is to retrieve stolen DNA samples from the Clone facilities on Kamino, with the separatists on the planet led by Admiral Tonkin, seeking to create a virus with the potential to wipe out the entire clone army and provide a swift and insurmountable defeat to the Republic! (Note: All characters, Locations, and Lore presented in this Fan Fic are of the property of Lucasfilm and Disney. This is my personal interpretation of a segment from the clone wars era.
