She was beautiful, standing there with her pink hair sheltering her shoulders, her green eyes sparkling, her tiny fingernails painted a pale blue.
Where she went nobody knows.
It was summer, the sun was gorgeously dazzling our eyes, and me and Rose were sitting in the garden, lemonade glasses at our sides. It was so hot, and we were sweating immensely.
"I'm going to go to the bathroom. I'll be back in a minute."
She got up and went inside, leaving me baking in the sun. I guess I fell asleep, because when I woke up again half an hour had been and gone. I turned over to look at her.
But she wasn't there.
"You're mine now." He says looking at me straight in the eye. And I nod. Its kinda breathtaking the way he looks at me. And the fact that he just called me "His" Doesn't help.
"Say it" he demands.
"I'm yours"

Zoe is just trying to finish her last year in High school without being noticed as the new girl. She doesn't need a boyfriend and she certainly doesn't need the guy next door who can't seem to leave her alone, but what happens when she is basically thrown out? Disowned? And he's the only one to save her?
Carrying his own secrets is Tray Harvard. The green eyed guy. He only has eyes for Zoe but she doesn't seem to see it.
What happens to the two?
Will Zoe let him in?
If she does will she stay with him when something threatens to tear them apart?
