What happens when it's only one sided?

How can someone bound to destroy you be your soulmate?

So I'm writing this story to help raise awareness about black lives matter. I want to figure out a way to read to donate or write for black lives or something. This story doesn't have anything to do about Black Lives Matter specifically but I will link petitions and donations etc.
