Whoever told me life is simple was lying to me. They also told me the problems I would face would be easy to overcome. Another lie. Life was never and will never be those things. Not when I live in a world where everything can hurt me. I didn't chose to be weak, but life did. So when I got 'fixed' everything changed. I wished that it hadn't. That I would have been fragile enough to break the first time. Now, I wish to fix the mistakes of the 'Upgraded' world. I want to downgrade it. I need to deactivate it.All Rights Reserved

You know that saying that goes like 'things don't always work out the way you planned'? Well I know that saying very well. It is the only thing that can explain what is happening and why my whole world has been flipped upside down. I'm part of the revolution, I've always been. The king of our little land called Terrian is oppressive and crooked, making the rich richer and the poor poorer. Although he doesn't like using the word 'poor'. People like me are referred to as the 'unfortunate'. As if luck had anything to do with our situation. So how did I get here? Is it a love story? Maybe. It would be clearly defined as 'complicated'... It's hurtful and confusing, yet, my thoughts puzzle me with each step I take...all I wonder is how it would be and what it'll end up like. Is what I'm doing right?

From the second you're in this world they tell you what is fair. What questions your allowed to ask and the ones you can never dare say. I find it damn near funny that most of you are reading this and know exactly what I mean. They put you on the path they've paved for you as kids we don't question it or even wonder if it's right for you. But beyond your paths edges is a land made up of risks and dangers. You feared it they tell you no good will come from it but how do you really know? Truth be told I was the girl who had her whole life planned out for her, straight A's, best friend, and two loving parents. I know what I wanted what I needed and I knew how to fight like hell for it. There's a reason why everyone prefers pretty lies over the bitter truth and it's usually because they can't handle the truth but I think the most likely thing is they can't handle what happens to the person once the truth comes out that's what happened to me. I was happy the way things were and then one day everything blew up in my face. Maybe the happy girl I was would have been happy living a lie for the rest of her life but no matter what the truth always comes out. So I ask you what would you have wanted the bitter truth or the pretty lie?

I thought I was going to start off the year normal: Enjoy senior year, play varsity soccer, maybe even fall in love. Unfortunately, my life has changed and I don't know if it's for the better or worse. Each day I find out something new about my past that sometimes I just don't want to accept.
