Haymitch Abernathy has been chosen for the Capitol's annual Hunger Games. Except this year, it's not just any Hunger Games. This year it's the second Quarter Quell, so these Games will follow a new rule that will make them even more unbearable - for the tributes and their districts, of course. This year the Capitol's people will be on the edge of their seats with excitement to hear the new ruling, to see the new tributes, to watch the bloodshed and the murder that is the Games. What will the second Quarter Quell bring? And how will it change the life of a hungry boy from District 12?

What would happen if Katniss hadn't won the games? Well the rebellion never happened and the games continued on. This year, it's time for the 4th quarter quell and the capitol has a big surprise for the districts. There will be three games. The first game will consists of district 1-6. 3 males and 3 females will be reaped from each district to participate. 12 of the 36 will move in to a final game. Then the second game will consist of district 7-12. 3 males and 3 females will also be reaped. Again 12 of the 36 will move on to a final game.
