Barbara Gordon was often called 'intense' or 'driven' in substitute for her brilliant mind. She was far smarter than any kid her age, and all she ever wanted out of life was to do something good; with her police commissioner dad, she knew exactly what kind of hero she wanted to be.

Wanting to be a superhero and becoming one, are two completely different things. But becoming the opposite? That's way easier. And sometimes it's not on purpose. Fate didn't want me to be a hero. I was a fairly normal girl, growing up in Central City. A city where superheroes and super villains didn't exist... until the particle accelerator exploded.
