"When they were touching you..." He said lacing our fingers together. "Kissing you..." He clenched his jaw and looked at me. "I wanted to rip them apart." He said the last part with gritted teeth and my heartbeat instantly got a lot more faster than it already was. "I don't like it, when someone gets close to you." He whispered running his fingers on my arm making me shiver with excitement. "Why is that?" This is a story about a hardworking and struggling teenage girl who gets stuck with a filthy rich snob but she can't leave. Would she fall for him? Or would she make him fall for her?

Complete! "You know I really like you, right?" He was definitely drunk. "You do?" I asked. My voice was supposed to be teasing, but I think it came off as a bit startled. He laughed, "Yeah, why else would I trust you with all my secrets?" -- Betty was many things; a romantic, a fashion designer, a bit more jealous than the average girl, great with a camera, a helpful daughter and a good friend. But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
