Nicole is the captain of her volleyball team at the college she attends in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. She is a Junior currently and she's trying to cope after her parents death not too long before she started college. Waverly is a sophomore at the same college, but she's the head cheerleader in her cheer squad. Waverly is also dating the school's quarterback, Champ Hardy, who is also one of the most popular boys in school. Nicole and Waverly, however, have never met, somehow. Sure they've seen each other at Nicole's home games, but besides that, they've virtually had no interactions. One day that changes when Waverly asks to sit next to the redhead in class. After this they end up talking more and become friends, but what they don't realize is that they have both developed some sort of crush on the other. Will they come to terms with their crushes and try to get together or will they stay silent? What about Champ? What will happen when Nicole gets hurt at a home game and Waverly volunteers to take care of her? Read on to find out.
