Steven feels his life is just an ordinary until one night where everything changed.

During the celebration of his eighteenth birthday, Steven Quartz Cutie-pie DeMayo Diamond Universe, a young, charismatic, positive, and down-to-earth server at the Savory Johnson, plays Truth or Dare with his guy friend co-workers. But when one of his friends kissed him because of a dare, his gem acts unusual for no reason. His gem, a replica of him, comes out when Steven tries to pull it out of his body due to the intense pain. He is an observer, protective, and about Chad that cares for Steven's safety and will defend him at any circumstance. As Steven gets to know him more, his affections towards his other half, intensifies even though he thinks it is wrong.

But things get a lot more problematic when Steven's girlfriend, Connie Maheswaran, slowly turns different in her actions, which he finds it suspicious. Even worse, he soon finds out that she has a partner with which he is eager to know its identity.
