Alfred Jones, formerly named Kirkland, had been wanted to leave his past behind.

He wanted to leave all painful memories, torture, and misery behind him when he started college. It had been his mission to leave all the people who had hurt him in the past exactly where they were meant to be. In the past and out of his life for good. But what happens when he runs into some of his former tormenters at his new college? And why don't they remember him?

Alfred Jones wanted to leave his past behind but it seems that his past, like an unforgiving, unrelenting ghost, has come back to haunt him.

WARNING(S): Please for all of our sakes don't skip this. This book is most likely going to be the most graphic one I've ever written. So to make it easier for everyone involved, I'm going to post warnings here so that everyone is informed. This story will contain graphic scenes of bullying, torture, homophobia, suicide, self-harm child abuse, as well as verbal abuse. This story isn't for the faint of heart and if you are sensitive to any of the topics I just mentioned please don't read it. I've been wanting to write this story for awhile now but I don't want anyone to get offended by it. So please heed my warning and proceed with caution.

"You're different from what I expected," she said softly. "How so?" he asked, glancing at her. "I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare." He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that." OR Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
