Poems of Pain and Solitude
For every person out there that was quiet, not because they chose to be so, but because they were choking in the smoke. Because their opinions were apparently not worth anything. Because they didn't know just how to say what they felt. For every person that is consumed by their own thoughts, the derision from the outside world only making it worse. For every soul that was drowning in remorse and anguish on restless nights. For every soul that says I love you in the dark and in the mirror because no one else does. For the floors we would pace while anxiety sunk its teeth into us. For the mirrors that we would break while shame echoed its laugh in our caged walls. Time Can't Heal This
I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by. These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.Complete

I've been through my own struggle, whether it was created in my head by way of prolonged sadness or bitterness/resentment, or if I was struggling with things I had no control over like failed friendships, a broken heart, or family drama. This is my advice to you based off of my life experiences. When Life Gives You Lemons
When life gives you lemons you are suppose to make lemonade right? For Sydney Burkhart the lemonade she got wasn't so sweet. She is a 17 year old girl with red hair big green eyes freckles across her nose. But behind all that she is a teen mom doing the best she can with the help of her parents and twin sister. She is a cheerleader and she works a part time job...without any help from her daughter's dad and his family. And someone else got some sour lemonade as well. 21 year old Bucky Barnes. A dream boat of a guy dark hair blue eyes the starting quarterback for UGA. But when a one night stand with Clint's cousin causes a pregnancy. He must decide what is more important a dream job or taking care of his now new family but when the girl falls back to her old ways. Bucky doesn't hesitate and moves back home. He steps up .. Once you add a little sugar lemonade is no longer sour..its sweet. When Sydney and Bucky meet at work they soon learn of each other's sour lemonades.
