New Beginnings

Jamie Ways looks at herself in the mirror. All she sees is a pair of glasses over two drained green eyes, two pink lips that haven't smiled in a while, and a cascade of of brown hair past her shoulders. She doesn't believe her life will get better anytime soon. All she sees herself as is a weird and smart 14 year old 8th grader who gets bullied everyday.
Jesse Woods walks down the hall as Jamie walks in the school doors. He gives her a big fake smile as he asks how she is today. When she doesn't respond, he squeezes her arms so tight bruises form. He then steps on her toes until her toes crack. Then he walks over to the big group of his friends like nothing had happened.
Jason Heats walks over to Jamie who is now crying on the floor leaning against the lockers. He makes her speak to him about Jesse and the bullying. He gets so mad and wants to help Jamie. He becomes her one and only true friend.
Terra Ways walked into her daughter Jamie's room before all of this happened and told her that she had ideas that could change this life of Jamie's. And Jamie believes it.
As Jamie begins to make changes to herself, she wonders if she'll ever be the same girl she was before she met Jesse. After a bet, Jason has to choose someone who will kiss Jamie. Who will it be? Will Jamie ever have a new reputation? She just wants people to like her.. And she doesn't know if that'll happen. She needs a new beginning.
