When the Valar discovered Sauron had made the ring of power, they created the Valdras. They were meant to destroy the Ring of power and Dark lord himself but something went terribly wrong. The dark one was far more sly than they expected. With the help of the ring he succeeded to force himself past their walls and into the minds of the Valdras where he forced them into obeying his dreadful orders. Soon the Valdras, who were meant to protect them, were feared by all of middle-earth.

When word reaches Erebor, Thorin Oakenshield decides that the best option is to send a Dwarf that is able to get along with the Elves of Rivendell but who is also a wizard. Haraldur along with Gimli, son of Gloin, will travel to Rivendell. From there they will begin the adventure of a lifetime. They will join four Hobbits, two from the Race of Men, an Elf and a Wizard to form the Fellowship of the Ring. The ring must be destroyed" Legolas said "It is true you cannot just walk into the gates of Mordor but you should not be so naive as to think you alone could destroy the ring" I said as Gimli looked towards me "And I suppose you think you're the one to do it ?" Gimli said cockily "And if we fail,what then ? What happens when Sauron takes back what is his ?" Boromir questioned looking towards Gimli as he leaps to his feet "I will be dead before I see the Ring in the hands of an Elf!" Gimli says looking towards me spitefully. "How dare you speak to me in such a manor dwarf!" I said rage in my voice as the council erupted into a storm of arguments. "Never trust an Elf!" Gimli said towards me as I reach for my arrow but a hand grabs my wrist and I feel warm breath on my ear "I wouldn't" Legolas' voice says against my skin as I look at him our faces inches apart. "Fine" I say through gritted teeth as Legolas lets go of my hand softly and stands by my side.

I was there for it all, from the Shire to Rivendale to Mirkwood and then The Lonely Mountain. You see I am 1/4 Elf, 1/4 man, 1/4 wizard and 1/4 Dwarf so I am tall for a dwarf but not tall enough for an elf/man/wizard. But the elven/wizard side gave me powers that nobody else had, nobody knew who my parents were other then my mother was 1/2 elf and 1/2 man and my father was 1/2 wizard and 1/2 dwarf. Gandalf and Lady Galadriel sent me to "Earth" after Smaug took over Erebor when I was nothing but a little baby girl. 40 yrs later here I am still looking like I am in my 20's with a very bad attitude and wanting NOTHING but to get away from my stupid foster home.......this is MY story on what happened and how I got bad to Middle Earth, trained with Gandalf and Lady Galadriel till it was time to take back the mountain. With two new hobbit companions, making 5, the shire-born hobbits set off for the quest to save Middle Earth, consolidating with 5 other members to form the fellowship of the ring. The original aim for the ten was to reach the wicked land of Mordor. But, their plans are easily muddled up. This book is mostly from my perspective, that of Maisy Baggins. The four towers guarding over the inner ring of the massive stronghold were the first thing travelers would see when riding up to the Grey city of Valier. It is held by an immortal race of men. These men, despite them not being bound to the fate of mortality, were not remotely similar to elves in their appearance. They were created by ManwΓ«, Ulmo and Melkor on accident when their enourmous energies crashed, fused and birthed from bare rock, water, fire and air a living, breathing creature. Their appearance and temper was a reminder of their creation. Isolated from the folks of middleearth they lived a life amongst their own, hailing their creators and the IluvatΓ‘r as their highest gods. They were the only folk that still spoke the name of the forsaken Valar with worship in their hearts. I do not claim any ownership of the Lord of the Rings franchise.
