Harry always thought he'd done a pretty good job escaping his past. Instead of being an Auror, he'd become a small town coffee shop barista, spending his days surrounded by people and the warm scent of coffee. And aside from the horrific nightmares that plagued his sleep every night and the triggers, no traces of the war were left behind to ruin his new life.
That is, until the day when Draco Malfoy walks into Harry's shop and his life with an order of a strawberry cheesecake Frappuccino.

After quitting the Auror department at the ripe old age of twenty two, Harry Potter finds a nice, uneventful job in an apothecary. At least, it's uneventful until his old rival Draco Malfoy comes into the shop. They strike up an unlikely friendship, which evolves into an increasingly convoluted scheme, which then snowballs spectacularly out of control into a tangle of lies and blurred lines. They'd agreed to a fake relationship ̶ in Harry's case, to get the wizarding world to take him off his 'perfect saviour' pedestal, and in Draco's case, just to be given a chance in wizarding society at all ̶ but neither of them expected just how difficult that might really turn out to be. After all, who would have imagined the former Death Eater Slytherin with the calm, 'loony' Ravenclaw? Luna Lovegood doesn't know how to feel about Draco Malfoy. What is this feeling inside her? Why does she get butterflies every time she approaches him? It must be Wrackspurts. Draco Malfoy can't believe he's falling for Loony Lovegood. The girl was a pure-blood, sure, but her weirdness and quirkiness made it a crime almost as severe as falling for a Mudblood. He can't be in love with her, can he?
