It was a couple decades ago when the werewolves outed themselves to the human population. And for the most part it was peaceful, you see human mating was a lot more common then it was made out to be, so people being or knowing mates of werewolves knew what they were like and thus found no reason to fight back. Some people rebelled like with most movements in society, but most people, including my parents, respected their own rights to life and love. My parents kept their distance from most packs, avoiding them out of "respect" when everyone but them knew it was fear. I was shielded away from were-society for most of my life, till one day when i wandered into the square during the mating parade, and found something, or someone who changed my life. ---------------------- A small girl wanders the streets of her town passing shops and houses alike and feeling a pull towards no place but one. At the same time a warrior of a neighboring pack wanders through the square, part of the mating parade, in a search for his other half, his better half. They both feel the pull, but will it be enough to erase his past, and erase her fear?
