Today is y/n birthday and i really want to make it special. I decided to make her favorite food and buy her favorite flowers.
While y/n was out for a spa day with her sister, I decided to take a shower and dress in my best suit and dress shoes. It was only 5 o'clock and i still had an hour to spare, so i dimmed the lights and lit some candles to set the perfect mood.
I texted y/n and told her to be home right away because there was an emergency. I can't wait to see the look on her face when she walks in and sees her birthday present.
Y/n POV
I was spending the day with my sister getting massaged and having a hot mud bath. We also got our hair done and our nails done. Now we are going shopping for a dress and some heels. I picked out a strapless turquoise dress and some white flats. " Hey, Im kinda hungry, do you think you can drop me off at home?" I asked " Not yet y/n, we only have one more place to go." Grace said " Ugh where?" I whined. " You'll see."

Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. I hope you'll like it. :D This story will be rarely updated, since I'm busy with school and stuff. Quite interesting. And because of this... "something worth delving deeper into," I have decided to continue the story with a PART TWO! Though that will have to wait until after Exile.
