John and Alex are both seniors at Washington High School. John Laurens is shy and kind, with soft features that are more cute than handsome. He is gentle and artistic. He loves roses with a sort of passion, because while no human he has met has stayed around for very long, roses would never leave, and John and Roses are synonymous. This, of course, John would never tell anyone. Alexander Hamilton, on the other hand, is a brash, outspoken young man.
