Blake thought he never really belonged anywhere and felt like he was the only one that cried over fictional characters or wanted to throw away the book when the author killed his OTP.
He was not normal, that's for sure. Or at least, that's what his classmates at school told him. He acted like a girl, like a nerd, a freak! But Blake knew that it belonged with him and never stopped reading. Never. Ever.
One day, a strange but apparently-not-fictional person stood on his doorstep to tell him that there was a place where he would surely be accepted, where it was okay to stare out of the window for hours after finishing a series, where it was okay to be longing to be a boy from a book.
Boys in books were always so likable, cheerful, perfect. A bookboy, that's what he wanted to be.
